Mesh fine enough for no-see-ums
No-see-ums (biting midges) pass straight through standard window screening — the openings are simply bigger than the bug. Our no-see-um curtains use a much finer 20x20-style weave that stops midges, sand flies, and gnats while still letting the breeze through.
Every panel is custom-sewn to your openings with reinforced edges and weighted hems, then hung on a track (slides like drapes) or Velcro® (fixed in place).
The calculator below starts with No-See-Um mesh pre-selected; switch to Heavy Mosquito if standard protection is all you need.
Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
No-See-Um mesh uses a much finer weave (roughly 20x20 strands per inch) that blocks tiny midge flies which pass straight through standard mosquito screening. It is the right choice near coasts, lakes, and marshes.
