| 1-sided exposure - worksheet |
In the world of mosquito curtains, we call this the straight shot. It is used for alcove type porch where the house forms three sides and only one side is exposed. Garages and french doors are 1-sided exposures. Breezeways where exposures are on opposite sides are really just two separate 1-sided exposures.
1-sided exposures are the simplest of applications and your choice comes down to either one curtain panel or two curtain panels that meet somewhere in the middle to form a doorway.
For 1-sided exposures less than about 20ft, consider using just one panel for your application. You can still exit out either side of the curtain and it will be completely seamless. For 2 panels, try to have them meet at a central support column, if any. |
