| Our Double-thread Weight Heavy Mosquito Netting mesh is so amazingly strong that none of our staff are strong enough to rip even a raw edge. We developed this netting that is very difficult to snag making it perfect for exposure to sharp objects like stucco, brick, rose bushes and kitty claws. Because the threads are double weight, we use a 230 hole count for slightly better visibility and air flow compared to Standard Mosquito Netting mesh.
This is the STRONGEST mesh we know how to loom and you can expect about 30% longer life. The heavy mosquito mesh is worth every penny. The weight can be an advantage for stability. It is a bit bulkier (about 35%), so if you are using tracking, try to keep panels less than 25 feet wide for an easy draw. |

Heavy mosquito netting mesh |

Our standard mosquito netting mesh is custom loomed to our specifications with 270 holes per square inch. It is an excellent quality that we built our business on over 5 years. You can expect an average life between 3-6 years with reasonable care. Our mosquito netting has about 15% of the density of a bed sheet so that if you threw a bucket of dirt on a white curtain and hung it, you would only see about 15% of the dirt. If your curtain will be subject to rough conditions (stucco, masonry, pets, wild cowboy children), consider our Heavy Mosquito Netting Mesh. |
No-see-um netting mesh is really a remarkable fabric that is soft and elegant at 800 holes per square inch. It derives its name NOT from any visual qualities, rather, it shields against a tiny little nasty midge fly unaffectionately called a "no-see-um". No-see-ums flies are found along the coast, lake regions and marshes. If you have never heard of a "no-see-um," you probably don't have them and should probably use the mosquito netting.
Compared to the mosquito mesh, no-see-um netting has similar visibility for black, yet visibility for white no-see-um netting is 75% in the shade and about 45% in the direct sunlight. In addition, white no-see-um will show the dirt more than white mosquito netting mesh. Air flow is about 65% and it needs to be well secured as it catches the wind more.

Black no-see-um netting mesh |
|
| Black no-see-um netting has very interesting optical qualities much like tinted windows on a car. Because the no-see-um mesh cuts the glare it actually improves visibility when looking towards the sun. In fact, we sell a good bit of the black no-see-um netting mesh to the military who use it for urban camouflage by placing it over a window or doorway. Good guys can see out, bad guys can't see in. |
