Gazebos come in all shapes and sizes. While these examples describe free-standing gazebos, the principles also apply to turret shaped porches, too. While you are free to use any configuration you like, we have outlined the most common configurations. For ease of discussion a hexagon has 6 sides (facets), while an octagon has 8 sides(facets).
Velcro attached curtains - typically use an outside hang using two panels with one short panel covering a single facet where you enter and exit and one large panel covering the remaining exposure. Curtain panels meet at support columns where you can secure the side bindings. In addition, the curtain is seamless as the columns hide the side bindings.
Tracking attached curtains - use panels that cover two sides each. For a hexagon, use 3 panels and for an octagon, 4 panels. While we carry 135-degree curved tracking (for octagonal angles), most clients use only straight track that comes together at hard angles. Curtain panels straddle the hard angle at the common column with the panel covering both adjacent facets, and must draw to the common column. When the curtain is swagged, it will have symmetry and each side binding can be secured to a support column for a seamless look.
