Masonry edges are like a knife. It is best to start and end panels at masonry columns. The side webbing is tough but raking the netting across the masonry columns will wear the curtains quickly.

This client used black No-see-um Netting Curtains. Because the curtains hang directly over the pool we had to make special cuts and use a fade proof bottom border.
He was determined to use tracking and improvised the awning frame to accommodate tracking attachment.

Notice that with an outside hang, we needed a way to hop over the railing on the right. We had to make a special notch cut to accommodate the railing.
This Canadian client had particularly windy conditions and gave the curtain a bit more structure by suspending elastic cord every 5-6ft inside the curtain.
