This deck has no roof. The pipe and paint cost $145 from Home Depot and the curtains cost was $695. The netting does not block the natural sun light into the windows like a covered roof would. In addition, the ceiling is a generous 10ft tall.
Visibility through the black no-see-um netting is particularly clear from the inside looking out.
When the light is softer on the opposite side of the curtains, black no see um netting offers privacy as it becomes opaque.
