We strongly recommend that clear Vinyl panels hang outside your support columns to take advantage of the structure your columns provide to brace the curtains in the breeze substantially improving their performance.

We recommend using a Fixed Velcro / Marine Snap attachment when hanging your clear vinyl panels unless you already have or plan to use our summer netting curtains. Your behavior in the winter is very different than it is during the warmer months. Having the flexibility to open and close Clear Vinyl panels using tracking is an over-rated option unless this is a commercial application. While we spend a long time making these look nice, there is nothing particularly pretty about a gathered heavy plastic panel tied to one side of a porch.

Many use our panels to winterize an existing traditionally screened porch. In such cases a fixed attachment on the exterior of your screening is strongly recommended.
